I can't seem to get dmsp to work. It won't load the maps.

    I use pro quake.

    wqpro -game dmsp2 +map dmsp1

It's what the instructions say, but it won't load the maps. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

In the dmsp2.zip, the map dmsp1 needs to be moved into c:\quake\id1\maps

The location of the map in the archive is in the base gamedir folder, not the correct place for a map (either quake\id1\maps or quake\(gamedir)\maps) so I bet you are getting a message saying map not found.

I tried it and worked just fine in ProQuake.

I don't think you have to move any files in this mod, just make sure to unzip with the directory structure intact into mod dir dmsp2. Then it should work in any SP engine with the suggested cmd line.

Yeah I am getting the map not found message but my maps are in the quake\dmsp2\maps folder. I haven't tried moving the to the id1 folder yet but I'm pretty sure it should work where it is. What command line do you use?
