I think it's just SWELL.
With all the new tweaks it makes for one sick ride.
I am unfortunately far beyond the limits of this video card.
I have updated to 270 binary for the Nvidia 9400 gt.
Also running 640 x 480 getting around 25 -35 fps but I get like 5 fps taking some of these SS.

Of note,
I downloaded the source for the suggested build and recompiled.
I now seem to have the offset mapping working much better.

I have found that if I take a screenshot when the engine drags,
it resyncs without having to R_restart
getting about 150 fps since regression and recompile.
I do not know why the vorbis sound is so out of sync .

bluntz, you need to change the settings of the movie - "This video is private"

Recording at the defaults resulted in no video from youtube just a green screen.
I raised the quality in codecs
Set the frame size and rate to NTSC
The Theora .ogv That results if great but again youtube doesn't like it soooo..
I wrote this simple template mencoder script.
To use it drop it in the video folder ,open it and amend file names.
Make it exec.Run it from the console or just clik it,I like the terminal myself.
This file I was able to load in avidemux and youtube accepted it.
