Well, Nahuel show me the link of a new partial conversion-episode for Quake..
The Altar of Storms released by necros just a week ago for the Qexpo event..

I consider it a masterpiece, you have to test it for yourselves..

I'm seriously considering the possibility of learning how to texture just to make this mod better looking..
The snow effects also would be perfect..

Wow cool! I'm playing it with DarkPlaces.
There's this little iron gate about 4 maps in, that is such a simple little cool gate. if u push it it squeeks, and then when it hits the wall u hear a little thump, i spent about 3 minutes just walking back and forth pushing that gate to hear the squeek, and the velocity of the push the volume of the impact thud changes! lol little things like that make me smile

I finished it, the game is great and everything is beautiful.. But there's something I don't understand..
The saved games are suposed to be saved on the mod folder, as well the configs and other files.. But I can't find them, there's just the pak and the readme on there..
I tried to make .ent files too, but nothing happens or they're saved on another folder..

Wow. I've just been playing this through in QuakeSpasm and I'm VERY impressed. The architecture is great, the outdoor parts are just about the best I've seen in Q1 (reminds me a bit of a wintery version of the beginning of Unreal) the difficulty seems just right at each setting. The new monsters are good too. Two thumbs WAY up.

I have to say this is a definite MUST-PLAY. If you only want to play one Quake map this year, this has to be it!

I played with Darkplaces, so maybe I didn't get all the effects, but at least it works and still looks absolutely amazing! This is stuff for a Nehahra II, to say the least.

A few more screenies for your viewing pleasure. [The last of these you know from the initial post, but that's what it looks like in Darkplaces - without fog effects, but hardly less impressive.]

When I try this with DP it doesn't show the textures correctly. Anyone else have this problem. If no, may I have your command line please.
