This is a single player where the challenge is to get to the exit without dying. There are no monsters anywhere in the entire map. There are a series of situations that you have to deal with that require careful thinking and examination to progress thru the may without dying.

I would describe this map as more of an obstacle course than anything else. It is a different concept on how to make a map.

Did it work? I'm not sure.
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

    Yes, it worked.

It's not as easy as it looks, but it's still worth trying.

/me adds that map to his USB key

16:03:30 <gb> the fact that only playtesting tells me that probably means that my mind is a sieve

I love maps like this. I recently played a map for Q3 Arena that was a similar obstacle course, but it provided you with BFGs and health frequently and most of the obstacles required BFG jumping pretty cool map. I'm going to try this one out.

Some neat things, but way too short.

The first real scenario was the hardest one (the first moving plats) and it wasnt fun. Just tedious and annoying. Very HL.

The last one was ridiculously easy.

Id just like to see more sp maps with more traps in general.

I beat this map on the first try!

Try sm116 (I think). It's ridiculous! The only one I could beat was sm116_adamllis2, and that was after a lot of attempts. It's a pretty cool one. (I never used quicksave/quickload because in these maps that's for losers!) They're extremely fast paced, so don't worry about having to go through 2 minutes of tedious stuff just to get back to the 'hard part' when you die. Every 0.1 seconds count (sm116_adamllis2 is awesomezor)
