What I've Been Up To
Not much in the way of level design
Sunday, September 2, 2007
Summer is the peek business time at work which has left little time to work on any level design projects. In my spare time I have mostly been working on other various projects such as my own IRC bot and a few new web pages.
It's safe to say I've hung up my hat as far as level design for TFC goes, however don't count me out for TF2 and Fortress-Forever.

For Now...
Thursday, March 20, 2007
It's not hard to tell that I have not been playing much TFC these days, concidering my last news post was over a year ago. However, I am planning a return shortly -- The Source engine is one that is hard to resist.

College Grad!
Now I Just Need a Job...
Tuesday, December 20, 2005
I've written my last exam! With the workload of school gone, level design can once more take a front seat in my life. I'm working on getting ff_monkey "media ready" so some screenshots can go up on Fortress-Forever.com Other than that, I might also work on finishing a couple of my remaining TFC projects including Snowbowl and Nexus.

Quick Update
Not Much Going On
Wednesday, November 16, 2005
With my last semester of school comming to and end, my free time is running short. Snowbowl is on hold so I can focus on my more important Fortress-Forever projects, as well as continue my job search. Anyone interested in hiring a motivated computer programmer? Drop me an e-mail.

Working on New TFC Map
Snowbowl
Sunday, September 25, 2005
I have been playing a lot of TFC lately, mostly on the Invade-Defend servers. Having so much fun playing dustbowl I wanted to make an attack/defend style map of my own. The map's name is Snowbowl, and this marks my fifth attempt at making this map.
To watch my progress and see a few early screenshots, check out this thread at the Invade-Defend forums.

Working Hard
Progress Report
Sunday, September 18, 2005
Well I'm working away like crazy on Monkey for Fortress Forever. I recently overhauled the entire map, basically starting over from scratch. This time around the map is developing a distinct theme and progress is flowing along quite nicely. I hope to be able to release some work-in-progress screenshots soon. Keep your eyes on ww.fortress-forever.com for media releases.

I'm Not Dead
Long Time Since Last Post
Saturday, September 3, 2005
Wow, I went an entire school semester without making a single update. What's to blame you ask? It can be explained in six letters: MMORPG. Addiction is a scary thing.
However anyone who might actually be reading this will be glad to hear I'm back to mapping. I am currently working on finishing Monkey for Fortress Forever. And I'm excited to start a new original map for the mod as well. I'll be sure to keep the site updated much more often now.

Exams
Mapping on Hold
Tuesday, March 22, 2005
As the end of another semester draws near, so do exams and assignments. My various projects will be on hold for a couple weeks. Once exams are over with I hope to polish up my map Seasons and get some screenshots up, as well as lay some ground work for Chempit2, and of course continue with my Fortress Forever projects.

Another New Map Started
Interesting Concept
Wednesday, March 9, 2005
Snowbowl's progress was slowing down a bit so to take a creative break I started yet another map. At the moment the map's working name is 2season, however I'm still thinking of new names. The map has a very interesting concept where the bases set in completly different themes. The red base is set in summer time, with green grass and rich rock walls; The blue base is set in the winter time with snow covered terrian and ice. I have a few early screenshots of the midfield where the two climates "crossover". They're not offical or polished for release, but if you bug me in IRC I can show you.

Map Progress
Name Decided
Thursday, March 3, 2005
The new attack/defend style map I'm working on is called Snowbowl. I have finished the attackers' first "escape gates" for command point one and am currrently working on the actual command point one area. It is still a little early for screenshots however.

Working on New Map
Attack/Defend style
Wednesday, February 16, 2005
I've currently began sketching a couple new maps for TFC. I really want to release an attack/defend style map before the release of Fortress Forever.

Website Launch
New site design
Monday, February 14, 2005
After hours of hard work my new website design is fully functional and ready to be viewed by the world! One of the most significant changes content wise is how the screenshots of my maps are presented. Visit the maps page and click on any one of the thumbnails to launch a screenshot browser, for easy navigation though all new, high quality screenshots.
If you spot any bugs with the new design e-mail me at [email protected] or catch me in IRC. One small bug that I am already aware of is that the GameSpy full-page ads sometimes disrupt the normal operation of my screenshot browsers. I will be looking into ways of fixing this, however for now just re-click a thumbnail or reload the screenshot browser.
I hope you all enjoy the new layout and feel free to contact me with comments!
