I'm making a very large and complex TF map. Since it takes about 20 mins to complile the whole map with extra light and vis level4, I have to seal off and compile seperate chunks of the level to test them.

Anyways, here's the problem:

I have a hallway system which isnt overly complex, but the edge count soars to like 1000 and rendering time goes up (per frame) when I play it! This is with a full level 4 vis! And its not even my whole map! It says 1000 edges but the visible poly count is about 150 and the number of visible edges cant be more than 400! How can I improve VIS's efficiency?
