: : Hi,

: : Just wanted to let everyone know I finished my first Team
: : Fortress level "Three's City 3". I would like to hear what
: : people think about it. Download it at http://www.zianet.com/threes/3scity3.zip
: : or from my web site listed below.
: : Thanks,
: : Three

: From the screenshot above, the map looks like it has a great deal of new textures.
: If I'm not mistaken you have done a great deal of Quake Art, like a Beavis & Butthead
: Quake2 portrait.

: I'll look into it right away, but the review will only appear later this week.

: Tell us more about it, what was the inspiration behind it, did you want a specific
: aspect of gameplay to be emphasised?

Thanks for taking an interest in my map. I have received possitive feedback from a group playing
it on a private server.

This level, like all my levels contains some new textures mixed with regular quake textures.
By the way, I use an old vers. of Micrographix Photomagic to do the textures, amazing for program that is
about 8 years old now.

Three's City 3 came about when I attempted to make my first train in quake. It just grew from there.
All my maps just grow kinda stream of conciousness from a kernel of an idea, never planned.

As for gameplay, it is a 2forts style capture the flag system with a couple added
features, such as keys and a trigger to damage the enemy. These features should add some different
strategy to the gameplay.
