TOTAL: 39/50 Good.

Notes: Once again, let us start with the bad news. The only real bad news on this map that I could find, is the items in the respawns. We have packs that give out 2 type one grenades, 1 type two. So far this is really not so bad, but then we re-supply detpack's. Still, nothing too serious yet, we can tell the author doesn't want to give too much, judging from the 1 type 2 grenade per sweep. But wait, how long does the pack wait before respawning... ONE second? What is the point of being so conservative with the gren2's (especially in a respawn right next to a major entry point) if you have two packs in the respawn that re-appear every second?

The other low score (well, not really low, but in comparison to the others) is the docs. Nothing really wrong with them, but to be fair to other mapmakers who included way more information in theirs, I had to give a score of 3.

Lately I've been really noticing a great deal of maps with the BAM4 look. This is the second map in a row that I review that makes extensive use of those textures we have seen so much of in BAM4. The last map I reviewed (DCF3.BSP) also used those textures almost exclusively, although I should point out that DCF was released AFTER this here map. But the author here has really spiced it up with a huge amount of detail and really interesting lighting.

The general architecture is really great. I mean other than the usual outside courtyard with the bridge, this map just oozes interesting new sights! DCF3, SPIT and BAM4 could be put in rotation on a server and truly play like a trilogy! I mean it's not every week that you review two maps, relatively unknown ones, that just blow you away.

This map has one major upper hand over DCF3, the interior detail on this map is just great. So many places to hide, run, jump and of course, prop that 'ol sentry!

What more can I say? Get it.
