Clan Mercenaries was first founded by SectorMan, aka ElTigre, a former DM'er about 3 1/2 years ago. Sector was introduced to the world of Teamfortress by close friend, Rictor[GT]. That was when Clan Mercenaries was born... We have gone through many changes throughout MC's long history. At first, there was Sector, Gath, Methlord, maCks, Logo, Vortex, StealthRT and Ranma. As MC expanded, it began recruiting more and more.

MC became more competitive as Wolfer took charge. During that time, MC was in its prime. Badness, Anfernee, Eulogy, all joined the clan. MC also allied with BH and made the guild, BaM, which the map Bam4 was named after. Then, MC lost two vital members: Wolfer and Mr.Lug. Slowly, people left MC and onyl Damn, Ranma, and others were left. Damn kept MC in the IGL 5v5 and MC braved its difficulties. Finally, after months of inactivty, Sector returned and MC started to miss the 10v10 matches. After discussing with all members, Sector then decided to merged with Mach's clan, Clan Diabolical.

As time went on, Carbine took the leader position and lead MC to many glorious victories. Carb put MC active both the STA Silver league, STA 6v6, and Division I of the OSTF. In one short week, MC gained both the IGL 5v5 and the STA Silver title. However, MC then began to lose its members once more. In one day, almost half of MC members retired or became inactive. MC becamee inactive in both the OSTF and the STA Silver leagues.
