1.
All matches are 2x30 games. There will be 15 min intermission between games. 1 on each
clan's server. The total combined score of both games will determine the winner of the
match. Once all players are on the server (within the alloted time) the referee(s) will
restart the server. Servers will be set for 35 mins. 5 mins
will be alloted for connection by both teams. When the map grunt disappears or the match
time reaches 5 minutes, the match begins.
1. All games will be 30 min long (+5 mins for prematch).
2. All games will be Caps + Frags.
3. Clans may agree to set a number of players to be used in advance. They may
set the number of players on each team and may not be below 8. On game day, that number
will be minimum, and clans will not be required to drop players below the agreed number of
players. If clans cannot agree or will not agree or have not made an attempt to agree on
the number of players for both teams, then the default number of 8 players per team shall
be used. If the number of players was set to be above 8 and one clan has the agreed amount
of players and one does not, the match will be played out and the clan who has the agreed
number does not have to drop players.
4. There will be NO SPECTATING allowed by anyone except by Official TPL
Referees.
5. Leaders of both clans are expected to show up on IRC or contact assigned league
referee(s) 15 min before the scheduled match time. If they have not done so atleast 10 min
before scheduled match time, the referee MAY disqualify the clan who has
not established contact.
If a clan contacts the referee
but reports not being ready at the moment, the clan is REQUIRED to goto
the server decided on at the scheduled match time. Example: Clan A leader reports to the
referee that he is not ready, he/she must get his players into the server by the scheduled
match time, even if they are missing players.
6. WARNING: The following option of MM1 rule MUST
be CONFIRMED BEFORE any match starts. IF one of the clan leaders cannot
agree on 1 option then the default option will be used which in this case is [Option 2].
[Option 1]: Players from both clans are allowed to use MM1 during match to a
certain extent and under the supervision of a REFEREE. ANY
abuse of this rule WILL NOT be tolerated. Example of abuse are TRASH TALKING,
ACCUSING OF CHEATING, INSULTING REFEREE, FLOODING, RUDE COMMENTS, ETC. In any
case, if the REFEREE thinks a clan is abusing this rule, he/she can and
will issue a forfeit to that particular clan for that round. And the next round by default
[Option 2] will be used to prevent anymore abuse of the MM1 rule.
[Option 2 (Default)]: Only the designated MM1 user may talk in message mode 1 ANY
TIME during the match. If anyone else NOT designated MM1 user uses message mode 1
in any way, a warning will be issued. If a second infraction occurs from ANYONE
in the same clan other than designated MM1 user, the player will be kicked. If a
third infraction occurs from ANYONE in the same clan other than the
designated MM1 user, then the referee is REQUIRED to terminate the match
and the offending clan will recieve a loss.
In the event that the referee
declares a forfiet, NO ONE but the designated MM1 users are allowed to
speak in message mode 1. The referee will then explain why this ruling was issued
and ONLY the designated MM1 users will speak in message mode 1.
When a forfiet is called during a match, ALL rules still apply and cannot
be argued.
If ANYONE
including the designated MM1 users direct an insult to the referee or anyone else in the
opposing clan, the referee of the match us REQUIRED to terminate the
match and the clan of the offending player will recieve a loss.
Direct insults:
Any type of statement that offends ANYONE or ANYTHING in
the match. Complaints of lag and rude comments about defenses or offenses will also
be considered direct insults to the clan leaders/server admins.
All typos of commands will be
ignored UNLESS it becomes out of control (5 or more "typos"
from same player). In this case, if ANY player abuses this rule,
then the referee of the match has every right to remove and ban the player WITHOUT
notice from the game.
If the referee issues a
forfiet to a clan, the designated MM1 user of the other clan involved has the right to
inform the referee that they wish the match continue. The referee will then consider
the request and then decide to allow the match to continue or not. If the match is
allowed to continue, then the NEXT message mode 1 violation, will result
in a forfiet for the clan who previously recieved a forfiet. This second forfiet is
challengable by appeal ONLY.
7. An Official TPL Referee MUST
BE at the match, in order for the results to count.
8. In the event of a tie, the two teams will play until the first cap has occured
(Overtime). The first team to cap will win the match.
9. No player's rate may exceed 5000. A player will be warned once and
only once then he will be kicked after 2 minutes of the warning or within 1 minute until
the end of the match. (thereby losing all his points thus far). After the kick, if
the player does not correct his rate, the referee is REQUIRED to ban the
player from the game. Rates will be monitored by referee using Quake
World Admin (QWA).
