There are now huge lists as default.
Check out the “new” huuuge lists at spmaps.html and spmods.html. neg!ke forced me to do it and it still hurts!
Well, actually it was a great idea. :)
I thought about splitting them into subsites (like a-f, f-l and so on) as the spmaps list is about 150 Kilobytes. But there are two reasons why I didn’t. 1. the nice javascript sorting (try clicking on the Author, Map, DL, Size… header!) would only work for the excerpt and 2. it would be more work. Not to mention that anyone who will be able to download any Quake map, will also be able to wait for a moment to fetch the html page anyways. I will not continue the csv lists, you can easily make your own by “search&replace”ing the html pages.
The lines that say “author” and “00/00/00″ are obviously not done yet. There are quite a lot of halfdone descriptions from earlier hidden though. And I haven’t done the speedmap list yet.

Sorry about the recent downtimes and suckyness. Seems like Dreamhost isn’t that relyable after all. Should I try and find a better host?
I got a huge load of submissions by neg!ke but couldn’t be arsed yet to put them up. I also started this which will become the new listin (with just all the files and empty fields where the infos is missing). That way the listings will not look so empty. :)
Oh, and I deleted about 25GB from /idgames2/planetquake (lots of non Quake1-stuff) and again about 25GB QW movies from the Shub-Hub. Just so that no-one relys on that in case I move and have less space… (Not to mention the totally useless space waste…)
News and Comments and Stuff!
Somehow I felt like installing WordPress for the news today. So I did. It should look almost the same, please tell me about any bugs you find.
You can now comment again (at least on the news) and I should post news more regularly (and not only the Quaddicted.com related ones). Also I can add newsposters, tell me if you want to support me. Aaaand RSS feeds. :)

apdm3 is a new map by than, warpspasm is a new map by ijed (just in case you didn’t know). Add func_msgboard to your daily bookmarks to stay informed about fresh Q1SP as I am not updating here to regularly (somehow I do miss a good news system indeed, maybe I will install wordpress for the news…).
