    Appreciate the bug reports Polarite.

"-nokeys_s" command param disables suppression of "StickeyKeys and friends"

"-nokeys_w" command line param disables suppression of "Windows" key

I believe one or the other of the above is causing your issue, but last time when I did 2 experimental builds you reported that both worked fine so I couldn't draw any kind of good "for certain" conclusion.

Tanks to those who made this

ProQuake is the only client I found so far, that runs in fullscreen-mode on my netbook (Asus eeePC, WinXP). Every other engine I tried crashed or, in case of DP, flickers, flashes and glitches when switching to fullscreen.

The later versions were made by Baker (all hail). He also made EngineX which is available from this site, just in case that is of any use to you

I don't know if I need this, because I want my Quake to look like it did in '97 (GL)
I'm not into replacement textures and all that, so I'm happy with ProQ

If you have a very old graphics card, like the one I had until recently, it's my understanding based on some correspondence with MH that DirectQ may not run on those cards. I'm sure it's a great "original look and feel" engine though, and has some great reviews from people more learned than I that I would trust when it comes to Quake. *

                    Kind regards

I think the main problem I have with Quake on the eeePC is the strange display driver the eee has. The display is somewhat "unorthodox" and you need to install a special software to even stretch Windows to fullscreen. I also can't change the screen resolution the normal way, I have to use that display software. It's an ancient 4G model that came with Linux and now has WinXP forced onto it.

The different Quakes I tried aren't the only programs that can't run in fullscreen, it's a common problem on my eee.

ProQuake is so pro, it can handle the eee's special needs

Will there be a update for glpro493 coming soon?
I miss the record option ;-)

did baker ever follow up on the q1.com changes to record stats? I have the proquake_server exe, but not sure what it does while waiting for this update.
