My preference of things would be Win2K/Pro , WinXP(Home/Pro) , Win98SE , and I havent tried Server 2003 or Vista, dont plan on trying either of those for a loong time either o_O

I hated XP for a very long time, until I realized I could turn nearly all of the shit in XP off,and make it resemble Win2k. As for Win98FE/SE , waaaay too many blue screens and random kernel problems or in general operating system crashes. Shit was brutal,I dont see how anyone can stand to run Win98 with its instability!

that makes no sense at all,Demos are just recorded instructions of whats happening, so when you play the demo back, the demo file tells the engine what needs to be displayed, where its displayed, when its displayed, etc etc.

Demo is just a instructional type thing for the engine, and contains no actual video or audio recordings (someone correct me if im wrong)

If you have sound via Demo , you should have sound via in-game as well, because the sound init. occurs before any demo or in-game playing occurs.

It doesn't make sense. I found a cracked CD of Windows XP Pro, I will do that. I think it is an issue with my motherboard's onboard audio. If I ever come across a sound card, I'll try windows 2000 on my old 120GB hard drive.

          Back to XP.
          2000 bad.

Back on XP. That whole Windows 2000 endeavor was a nightmare. It was slow, and has no support for anything I have, basically. Luckily my XP home did activate for me.

I tried about 4 or 5 different keys for XP pro. Either the people who make torrents of operating systems are retared or can't type, either that or the keys don't work with my legit XP pro CD, and the XP pro they offer in the download is cracked somehow to support that key.

I have a legit XP pro CD and no key for it, and I have a copy of a legit XP home CD with a legit key. Using pirated operating systems really sucks balls :/

I have 1 pirated CD-Key for XP Home, and 3 legit CD Key's for XP Home. I'm teh awesomeness!

Hint : Anytime your around a "public dell/gateway" (library, internet cafe)computer, always jot yourself a note down : the XP CD-KEY found on the tower, even on your buddy's PC or your teachers tower, it never hurts to have backup CD-KEY's haha, and never ever ever register a stolen CD-KEY. o_O hahaha
also, dont trust downloaded/pirated Windows OS's , they are just a pain in the ass in the end,get a friend/relative to make you a copy of theirs.I have never owned a Legitimate Windows Operating System "install CD" .......there must be something wrong with me!

The biggest problem with XP and CD-KEYS is that fucking Activation nonsense, its such a headache cracking it.

I won't download an OS if it doesn't come with a key and a WGA crack in the torrent..
