Blue screen error while play proquake gl and gl games all together

Ok I dont know If any one can help me with this but it would be great while play gl quake using pro quake and in quake 2 evolved by in the middle of playing the screen look wonky the game crashes then a blue screen appears say stuff only a programmer could understand like dumping physical memory dump and physcial memory dump complete and yet when I restart the computer everything is still there some times the same screen pops up while play the game but it is in gibberish or jumbled is there a way to fix this I misss play addons,maps and quake and gl games in genral.

For information I am running on service pack 2 of Xp and I have a nvida geoforce 2 mx 100\200 video card with drivers and gl quake and other gl games used to run perfectly before on this same pc but that time my cousin set it up and then our hard drive died and we bough a new hardrive and we re installed everything and talk to me like a 2 year old i am not computer savy and my older bro is a little better than I. I miss quake and planned on buying the mission packs for this and quake 2

It's DirectX, not OpenGL but looks like GLQuake anyway so even if OpenGL isn't working it should work.

Let me know if it works for you.

(You may solve your problem by upgrading the video card drivers, but video cards suck don't they so who knows.)

Ok I will try that and sorry for spelling my username spelling ain't excatly my strong point because I lost the 7th grade spelling bee to the word chuefer or chandilere or some thing only the monoply guy could love I prefer history much more interesting I cant wait to frag more grunts and video cards are a pain in the @$$ I used to be able to run gl quake like a dream on this same video card so it cant be that
I haven't tested my quake 3 and I could play medal of honor AA on this same card and pc so I am guessing it direct X should I update it

yes I did because I will explain my issue a little better nothing in open gl works period It freezes looks all weird and then goes to a blue screen say sometimes physical memory dump and other things i dont understand and then sometimes its gibberish and it does the same in direct 3d when I tried half life. My computer is a from around 2003 I have a nvida geoforce mx 2 100\200 I have direct x 9 and cant upgrade it to 10 i download nvida drivers recently when I got a new hard drive and I have that annoying issue ever since in all open gl games like quake 2 evolved and quake 3 because this same computer used to run gl game great like medal of honor allied assult and quake 3 and quake gl and quake 2 gl. I use pro quake so does anyone have any idea. Also I was play win quake and chthon was green isn't he supposed to be red and after lowering thoes this when I when to shock him it said missing lighting targets do you know how to fix it

Sounds like you have really bad problems then as this seems to affect many different types of games OpenGL, DirectX, even WinQuake.

I'd recommend uninstalling your video card drivers and reinstalling them from the Nvidia web site.

see if u can find the video driver that came with the card (old driver) couse newer drivers tend to suck on older cards..

oh now you got me mixed up I am a noob to say the least so i am not who you think I am trust me and I fixed the green chthon issue what it was is i used pro quake launcher and it had lunsp1 has the start map and I started a new game from there and then it had taken me to the standard introduction map for quake 1 cause I tried again use the pro quake for windows icon chthon was red like usual not seasick green

hmm strange that my old quake buddy Marauder-HDZ popped up back in the quake world on a ctf server 2 weeks ago, right around when you signed up here, lol! anyways, sorry for the confusion and welcome to the community! i think proquake is the best. if you want crazy graphics, get darkplaces or qrack

use fitz or BJ's glquake for singleplayer games..

Some of the reasons why FitzQuake and Enhanced GLQuake are fine for single player (or LAN play) but not so great for online:

1. Not NAT fixed. Big trouble connecting if using a router or broadband modem with router capabilities. Will get "connection accepted" problem.

2. Cannot do "connect quake.shmack.net:26001", delimited in addresses are aren't supported.

3. Can't record a demo at any time (although DarkPlaces can't either last time I checked, but LordHavoc has that on his todo list I believe).

4. No ping in scoreboard.

Those are the major ones. There are some other little things.

FitzQuake and Enhanced GLQuake are superb for old school single player and have a lot of significant advancements in the single player department (Fitz: 20 save slots, skybox, rendering fixes, fog, fullbright texture support, centerprint logging, resolution switch, lit support, more mapping features / Enhanced GLQuake: interpolation, huge capacity, VERY HIGH map, skybox support, fog, a lot of great compatibility warnings (for developers), and mod compatibility).

DarkPlaces, Qrack, JoeQuake, ProQuake are pretty much ideal clients for regular Quake and each have a lot of players that prefer each of individual clients for DM.
