Blue screen error while play proquake gl and gl games all together

Are FitzQuake and Enhanced GLQuake any worse for online play than say glquake.exe or winquake.exe?

No. glquake.exe and winquake.exe also lack the above. Which is why much of the information on the site is steers people towards something NAT-fixed and away from glquake.exe and winquake.exe.

When routers became common and even ISPs shipped DSL modems with router capability (* see note below) a mysterious "connection accepted" problem started cropping up with greater and greater frequency.

Hordes of players encountered this problem. The solution and only prevalent client at the time with the fix was ProQuake. ProQuake usage grew and grew and grew and largely converted many players to ProQuake who otherwise content with whatever they were using.

JoeQuake quickly got the fix (2003) and Qrack inherited it. I believe LordHavoc might have been the author of the fix (I saw LH's name in the ProQuake readme somewhere) and DarkPlaces is also NAT fixed, of course.

The NAT-fix issue is so bad of a problem for those affected by it, it ranks #1 on my list of things that need communication. After helping 40-50 people with the "gee I can't connect it just sits there" problem, honestly it gets old dealing with it over and over again

(*) a necessity for most DSL to work with a PS2/PS3 or XBox because DSL usually requires a password which the DSL software will program into the modem and they don't want ppl cancelling their DSL because they can use their game console online.

Baker I also have that connection accept problem. Itll just sit there until I type in the console
"say " or say anything for that matter. Then it'll go through and I'll be on the server. I also have a router... Entar told me about this when I was using Vengeance R2.

I will try that thanks so I am thinking of try fitz quake I saw joe quakes hud and it crap its the quake 3 hud which I thought was the worst.

do any of you know of a good place to get fan made mission packs for quake 1 like an example of what I mean is like travail. Did anyone else but me hear of the possiblity of quake 3 arcade for xbox live arcade.
