I know about RBE... and I'm actually a prominent member at that site. You make it sound like the video driver was flashing the bios on its own. RBE is a bios editer program, where the user loads his bios into the program and edits it as he wants.e|------------------------0---------------

I am suggesting to use it to find your revision number not to edit.
It is very hard sometimes the number flashes by so fast at post.

I swtiched from NVIDEA to Raedon and it screwed everything up graphics wise on my pc. I put the NVIDEA back in and it's still messed up. Wish this thread would have been up before i made the switch.Comment

It's Nvidia, not NVIDEA. Also, I doubt a Radeon card would completely fuck over your PC to the point where all the graphics got screwed up, and even your NVIDEA card didn't work anymore. Try installing Driver Sweeper, downloading the newest drivers, uninstalling your old ones, booting into safe mode, running driver sweeper, then rebooting and installing the new drivers.e|------------------------0---------------

In my experience, ive never updated drivers unless it was absolutely necessary. I usually stick with drivers that work for everything when I find one. I have a 5870 and it took a couple hours to find a set of drivers that worked well. Ive been running the same version for over a year with no problems.If you see 427 playing Quake thats me.

I fixed it. Did a System Restore and then reinstalled old drivers. Works fine now.Comment
