E1M7 is fun when servers aren't full. No sense running around a big map looking for 4 other people. E1M7 is full of action and action is guuuuud

That combo is so hard to come by though,and I normally cant stand playing Runes because theres always some peon screaming "Bot!" or theres 5-6 players using different rune's trying to kill you at the same time, or some Camper hooked on the ceiling spamming *cough surferX3 cough*
RuneQuake is fun when its just a handful of players 3-6 , but when it fills up I dont enjoy it,skill becomes less of a factor and luck takes over.
I never found a mod in QW that I enjoyed,and I never really enjoyed Crmod.

E1M7 is all about camping the RL. 1 on 1's on E1M7 are boring. FFA on E1M7 is not all that bad with 5+ players.

Regarding QW vs nQ and so on and so forth... allow me to say my piece. You should all know this tune by now, it's one of my favorites:
Darkplaces.
