Qball mod

Just wondered if someone could put the Qball mod that is running on quake.intertex.net up for download?

I would also like to know who created the mod, as I have a few questions regarding it.

I created the mod for hard core Qball players in 2001. I had never played the game on Mplayer myself, but after watching a few demos and consulting with players like 2Tone the mod is very close to the original

Though, I used the orange orb sprite to represent the "ball", I can change it to the Q model if u prefer...

I know we, the Quake community, probably don't say it as much as we should but I think most of the players (me included) appreciate all the work Rook/Havoc/Baker/Wifi/Slot/etc put in to keeping Quake the fun game it is, so on their behalf thank you! Much kudos to Rook for doing the QBall mod. It might be nice to see more updated classic mods from the legend that is Rook (hint hint :d )

I do, all the time. We need to start populating the server, maybe even get it to be played on more servers if at all possible!

Sometimes the server gets reset via maintence and I dont check it often enough to restart the servers. sorry muh bad!

Being the best q-baller of all time I wouldnt mind playing again. Everytime i go there though no one is on. I wish there was a way that we could get everyone on at the same time.

I have qball running on quake.intertex.net, sometimes the server reboots (i think its a maintence issue), I its almost daily i have to reload the mod...

im willing to learn it, but how do you play it?

one way to attract players is to put bots in, then as the human players fill up the server the bots can be kicked, and they can keep company for lonely players until more human players show up
