    Casper, what version of Windows are you using? Are you still getting the "Invalid Picture" error?

    I'll do some more checking on this and post a version 1.02 sometime tomorrow or maybe even tonight.

      same error with the invalid picture and im using windows xp home edition from e machines

        After looking at the log file, I know what is causing the problem. It can't read the thumbnail files that display in the main interface because it is having trouble unpacking them out of a data file (so the images don't actually exist to load, which is why you have the error message.)

        I am merging some new code into the ProQuake Launcher from 2 other similar projects and am about 70% percent done with that but I don't think I will have it done today.

        Tomorrow (Wednesday) I'll have the updated version of the ProQuake Launcher available that fixes your problem around 4 PM Eastern at the latest.

              Not yet ... Tuesday or Wednesday is the most likely day ... this weekend hasn't been any good so far.

                This will be out later today. I'm not certain of the exact time, should be a few hours out for sure.

                EDIT = Ok, completed 23 of 26 things I needed to do to wrap this up with some upgraded code ... but items #24/#25/#26 are giving me a headache

                To be continued ... tomorrow ... have to sleep

                      I suck!

                      I have a list of things I'm adding, but time has not been friendly to me for the last few months.

                      What sucks even worse is I have a lot of projects that I completed 50% to 95% -- some very unique things -- and I have no idea when I will be able to finish any of them (but I will at some point).

                      Maybe we can sell Joao to shoe factory in Malaysia or something and then I'd have more time to work on these?

                        Who is João? (ok there's a portuguese joke about this question, so please, don't answer it)

                        I'm going to use your launchers (ProQuake and QRack) in the next bQuake build (do I have permission?). I do not tested all features, but looks like the version 1.0 is working fine!

                        Can you tell me what the application used to generate the launchers?

                          The ProQuake Launcher was written in Visual Basic 6.

                              Qrack Launcher is working fine, but when I try the ProQuake Launcher, I get a blank screen! Tried glpro.exe and it's working fine!

                                I know (I was thinking about that issue when you posted), it affects most non-English speaking countries due to an oversight I made: it sends the gamma parameter as "0,50" instead of "0.50" using regionalized numeric formatting, which Quake doesn't recognize and interprets as 0.
