hmm not really lost talent ;o coding hacks is just another way of improving your knowledge of the game code or code in general just not in a socially acceptable manner

but yea if skuh coded all of that, hes a hell of a good coder thats for sure all i know is the last version i got had a snake mini game build in on screen for during wait periods in ca matches.. genius idea that was

Ok you guys dont know anything about how all that hogwash came about all that silly wireframe and wallhack code was ripped from quakeforge by skuhravy and he compiled the original glpro9 or whatever the first one was called i ended up getting the source from sense compiled countless goofy exes and distributed the src to a bunch of random peons but yeah clan zer0 used that shit and so did alot of other people no clue what exe r00k came up on or where that came from that shit was so widespread back then its hard telling needless to say that was a n00birific time in quake pretty funny though

Well my main Quake folder is over 5 gigz. I doubt there would be an actual .zip still intact. This was just a random "readme.txt" floating about, that I happened to look at and thought it would be funny to post. Kinda like reading a love note from the 3rd grade ;P Those hacks listed are pretty basic, with little effort required. But back in the day, when you first saw them, to me it really crippled what I considered a competitive game, to the point it almost made me ill. That and the compounded efforts used as I was attempting to block the stuff from my servers The fun haxors were having "learning the engine by hacking", I was also having "learning the engine, to learn the hacks, to counter-hack-hacks" in the end, it was just a pissing contest.

Yeah i hear ya keep in mind i was like 11-12 years old when all that happend and my immaturity got me in my fair share of trouble looking back now it seems so trivial but i see how that era really started the end of competitive netquake so i agree with r00k me personally i was always just enamored with that side of things from the very first pak2 and altered mdls made by clan RB (ruthless bastards) to the whole SBot crew and the advancement of cheats in general it was so crazy back then just as ground breaking as the game itself in my mind i just look at things from the other side of the track i guess but for whatever its worth i appologize for all the lameness i was apart of and am just thankful theres still a small yet relevant oldsk00l following still consitantly playing the greatest fps game of all time

That's the most honest post i have ever read, minus the bullshit about quake fps or something.
I'm sorry to have had shown your ass in public. You have earned your stripes, and part of being a man is admitting you were (blindly) at fault. Word.

edit: can we smoke that blunt now?!

Yippy, skippy. Whenever you connect to a server, now everyone knows you have all your hacks turned on.

"Wow that guy is a damn good player"

                            "nah that's neil"..

lol even when i was offering to make anti-cheats for proquake people still accused me of cheating, ive become accustom to it, either way i like how the community is now with very limited cheating, so i doubt i would load up qrack or proquake and put in some cheats then release it as it would gay what little community we have left.

Guilt by association. You have chosen to reply on behalf of the Haxors by using "we" in your sentence.

Gay is to hack an open source game, just to connect every once in a while to substantiate a weak reputation. Thats like wearing a prosthetic dick just to flash the neighbors!
