agree with mindz. my school forced mac upon you for a few classes so that you had diverse skill-sets, but besides those few classes, they mainly taught PCs and all of my instructors openly preferred PCs to macs. it's not a coincidence.

laff at phen. i now hope mac gets Qrack before Linux.

I have found that quake spasm has done the best job so far with mac quake. As far as lighting n what not. They are still lacking a lot of proquake commands. Not to mention the pimpsex qrack. OH... the mouse is poop also . inputs for it or whatever...

I have raised this to 5 virgins.

The bootcamp software comes with mac, but they do not supply a version of windows 7. Not going to spend the money on windows..

Well, you spended double the money on that mac then what a normal pc with windows 7 had cost. So get a Windows 7 license (Home will do, about 50$ on eBay) and install or sell that mac and get a cheap pc and have some extra money for christmas.

It looks to me that Mac OS was designed for people who not have much knowledge about computers...

They are easy and extremely reliable. I know this laptop will last me forever. Had several pc laptops that simply fall apart. Only downfall is wanting to play old ass games like quake...

Well if you pay that much for that Laptop then it isn't much for XP, about 10$ at eBay. Bootcamp could also handle XP...but wait, now that you bought your ultrasupermacintosh there are not 10$ left to buy XP. Instead tell someone to make his engine work on your OS is the better way...

Ya. A copy of winxp should be dirt cheap. I'll try to find my copy even as I won't ever need win xp again.
