just played third and final level of Unforgiven . 371 enimies like serious sam , I was playing with 72 FPS as default . after 15-20 mins post #30 happened. Looks like monster spawn overflow . Dont know exactly
I am pretty sure MH solved this problem when he preview released DirectQ 2.0 to me directly, because I am a DirectQ fanatic. Truth be told I and others never have this problem,and I have used DirectQ to play singleplayer as well and it just doesnt happen.
It's time to upgrade to a DX11 supporting video card , and please don't tell me you already own a DX11 capable videocard but are still chaining yourself to a dead OS , Windows XP.
edit ; further thinking also tells me that he reached a point where he felt DirectQ 1.9 was polished enough, and possibly the sinking through map stuff was handled in later releases.

This will be the final major release that supports Direct3D 9; from Release 2.0.0 onwards DirectQ will be moving to Direct3D 11.
There may be one or two interim "patch" releases based on this version, but all further main development work will be focussed on the D3D11 move.

Hey , I guess I really found out what happens , I think it is in case of huge amount of monsters. when the time went to usually predicted point (~20mins) , I was going up the ladder and here spawned about 15 scrags , I started fighting with them and they ALL SUDDENLY blown up , and later as usual , corpses start flickering , I went a bit futher and started sinking =) ( . ahah f*ck it .

Can I use these command line commands with DirectQ : -nojoy and -noipx ?
I have got new bug in Scourge of Armagon , in the level = the catacombs , near gold key , when I was passing the electric shields , An unhandled exception happened
Even with default settings the same things , when Im trying to pick up some stuff between electro shields

I experienced the same problem of getting stuck on hipe1m2. At mid level something happened and I get stuck in a lot of places. I cheated and passed the level using noclip, but then on hipe2m3 got the same problem since the beginning of the map, so I suspected it was a bug of the engine because it happened even after loading the next map.
Actually I didn't try to load another level or loading a save, only restarting the engine.
Another thing that happened in hipe2m3, just before getting the gold key, on the lightning bolts that appear from the walls DirectQ crashes with the message:
"An unhandled exception ocurred."
I passed that part using noclip getting behind them, then killed them, but then i crossed the lighning bolts a few times and didn't crashed. On Quakespasm I don't get the crash.
I'm playing DirectQ with W7 32bit on a computer that doesn't have SSE2, so that may be a cause or not. I don't know.
I found one bug in SHRAK (It happens only in SHRAK) . When you become rapidly change weapons using MWHEELUP and MWHEELDOWN , game crashes to console with message like
