      I saw this:

192.168.1.4 - is an ip that gives my router to devices that connect to it as i understand.
Should i type my "real" (for the rest of the world i mean) ip instead of this one?
If you aren't using a router, then your real ip address is the one someone would use to connect.

But you must be specifying the wrong ip address --- if the server says the ip address is 0.0.0.0, you don't have the server listening on a valid network connection.

Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

This part of what you said doesn't look right ....

--->Typed "connect 94.245.177.63" (it is my ip)
        ---->[email protected]:~/Downloads/q$ ./pqlinux -ip 188.244.136.24 <--- ?????

        But if it shows this:

        host: YKT (anti-wallhack: players)
        version: ProQuake 3.90
tcp/ip: 0.0.0.0 <------ Server does not have connection
        map: dm1
I would try it with no router and do not specify an IP address at all in the command line. It should use the correct network address. Then try to connect to it using your ip address on another machine.

        i.e.

        ./yourQuake -dedicated 10 +map start

i tried to set a server frrom another machine with direct connection to internet cable (pppoe, but another provider).
I will do it again without ip address, but i think i did it already.

            Result:
            http://pastebin.com/Ly46fMLK

If you guys don't have any idea how to fix this, then i will try to set a Quake III Arena server.
            That must be easier?

Or i will have the same result in there?

What you really need is someone knowledgeable with your Linux distribution.

You did have it working when you tried it with your router, at least according to the log when you did -ip 192.168.1.4 because it showed the correct ip in the server status.

I will do that in Debian.
Just nned to install it on that machine.

I think, knoppix has the same configuration as debian. It is based on debian and i havent seen any difference.

                Thank you.
If that won't work, i will try Quake 3.
And i will read more info about servers and all that internet stuff.

                Thank you all!
