    Im not convinced that damage ratio means you are the most valuable teammate.

    If my entire team is idle and i take on the other team and lose, my teammates have better mvp statistics than i do, for doing nothing.

    A camper hiding, taking pop shots as people pass by (top lifts aiming at pent window teleporter for intance) will get more damage given than damage taken. Same as if u stand away from a battle and just spam shotgun at two others fighting together.

    There might need to be a point scale for mvp.
    a.> +damage_given (baseline)
    b.> 10 points for being the winner of the round.
    c.> 5 points for protecting a teammate
    d.> 1 point for each true kill. (same as a frag in crmod)
    (values could be tailored ...)

    This way mvp stats are awarded to players for doing positive actions that earn their team a victory.

      Hmmm, interesting...that might be a cool way to do it.

      On top of that:
      1) If you are the lone teammate who is 2v1 by the end of a match and you kill them: award 5 points, if it is 3v1 by the end of the match: award 10-15 points, and so on.
      2) If you do 300 or more damage points (= 1 frag in CA) and take no damage award 5 points with each 100 damage points above 300 earning 2 points.

      I dunno about this, is it getting too complicated to find the winner?

      EDIT: Baker, does your ProQuake support server side IP masking on bomber so I can get rid of the shitty quakec code?

        Yes. It's on by default too.

          Bam the 'MOTD', (The one where you have to press 5 to make it disappear needs to be fixed, it catches about 1/2 of the players off-guard and they have to reconnect and press 5 as an observer to make it go away Thanks!
