    They are very beady though and hard to see them. That's more what I meant about the eyes.

      on obi-wan's model they are small and beady too just like the fiend has on the original model


      of course they are a bit more noticable on the HD model,
      cuz on the high-poly model there's more detail (which is the point) which makes the facial area more defined
      .

          i can look into stretching and recoloring the laser-model that OoPpEe once made for the enforcer:

          its similar but the plasma-projectile is longer and blue instead of yellow

              randomly decided to do something quake-related with modelling, and decided to start on the braziers from quoth



              i have absolutely no clue yet how i'll handle the flames.
              seeing as sadly the quoth source isnt available, and thus seven's particle-flames cannot be added and instead i'd have to add 3D-modelled flames to the braziers
              .

                decided to put the flame from orion's debugged torch on them for now with primevil's HD texture.
                not sure wether ill go with that or try making a custom flame-model

                  silly me didnt keep in mind the original model could have multiple textures,
                  a possibility i suddenly just thought of and checked... and indeed it does

                  so, what now? i already made a detailed modelled version of the first skin...
                  all my work on adding details was pointless?

                  oh no no no.... it wasnt!
                  when trying to think of a solution, i came up with an idea of a possible work-around for the fact the model has multiple skins

                  seeing you can put multiple models into a single md3 file which can all use different textures,
                  i came up with the idea to make multiple versions of the model itself which has different geometry
                  and for every skin make a different model show up and make the other versions have a completely transparent texture on them
                  so you'd only see the intended version for each skin


                  so to test this idea out i made a simple box in blender, copied it and put the copy at a different rotation and gave it a different texture,
                  and then made skin-files for the md3-model to test out if it would work the way i hoped...

                  and the method i came up with does indeed work!
                  all 3 models in above pic are the same md3-model but with different parts having an invisible texture through use of skin-files

                  .

                  this means i could do work with my idea, and my work on additional detail wont just have been for nothing,
                  but ill be able to make multiple versions of the model which has different details added to the geometry for each skin

                  like 2nd and 4th skin ill make the bolt-heads be 3D, and for 3th skin i could make the grooves between bricks be indented into the model,
                  and mayhaps i could even make the runes on 6th version be engraved into the model

                  .

                  means itll take longer though before the model is done, seeing i'll be making multiple versions of the model for each skin
                  .

                        made a new texture for the beam, and i made the skulls lay on top of the beams

                            just finished re-texturing the braziers for 2nd skin and added some basic 3D bolt-heads to them



                            which means... that version of braziers for 2nd skin is done too

                                WIP of 3rd skin version. just finished giving the beam 3D bricks

                                also partial WIP-texturing of the base.
                                havent added any 3D details to the base-parts yet though
                                .
