some HD stuff for use with quoth!

  • i actually already have a similar mouse from logitech, a G700

    pretty much the same except that it has 4 buttons on the side, and extra 3 buttons on top-left.... also, wireless!
    i have actually considered the mouse you have a few times but now that ive been working with a wireless mouse for years i wouldnt wanna use a wired mouse anymore.


    but it might be an idea to add profiles to my mouse specially for image-editing and working in blender! i actually hadnt thought of doin that yet ^^;

    i currently only have 2 profiles on it out of 5, one which has all buttons set to default functions, and one i made specially for gaming.
    so i still could add 3 more profiles to my mouse
    .

    • made a profile for image-editing for my mouse so that i could continue despite only being able to use one arm, and i made the vertical karch beams.

      beam for big arch:


      beam for small arch (couldnt find where its actually used)

      • You can add infinite profiles to your mouse.

        Those profiles are just text files. You could easily back up any profile and then tell your profiler to go get it again. So, yeah - maybe you can only have 5 stored at a time but having a library of profiles is totally possible.

        I knew you had that mouse. You posted it in another thread a while back. It has more buttons than I remembered. I knew it had some extra ones but I thought it was about half. That mouse is perfect... and now you can make images again! yay!

        You got some cancer or summin I can help you with? (kidding)

        • yeah i am aware of the option to export and import profiles to,
          i have all profiles saved in case they randomly dissapear which can happen from time to time


          and im really happy to be able to continue makin textures thanx to being able to set mouse buttons to keyboard short-cuts and keys that i need
          .

            • just did the kstone textures, which are most noticable used in the first underwater area


              no idea though where kstone2 & kstone3 are used,
              so here's a preview of the textures themselves instead

              they're just recolors of kstone4. kstone2 is a grey-ish tan, while kstone 3 is brown with a hint of purple


              also did the bronze0 texture, which is used everywhere in the map around the skull-switches

              its just a recolor of metal1_3, which the original also is

                and i also found where kstone3 is used



                these bring the total of new textures to 16, which i think is enough for another update

                also, the total textures that are done is 169 now, and there are just 43 textures left to do

                • did a couple more textures:

                  rock10 and rpgrocks1_rpg8

                  rpgrocks1_rpg8 is an edit of 'biessman' from inkub0's hexen2 pack


                  another edit of a texture from inkubo's hexen2 pack, of rtex145

                      • derp, i just realized i accidentially deleted the credits file and didnt include it in the last update of the texture-pack!

                        I have re-written it from scratch, added some more credits for certain textures
                        and adding credits for some of the newer textures, and i will add the credits note again in the next update

                            • i've just tested version 0.8 with some other knave maps and the result is amazing. even at this stage of completion. breakfast at twilight and lost chapters look better than ever before. obviously, not all the testures are replaces in those maps, but still... thank you talisa for your work. looking forward to the final version.

                              • aye, CotS uses a lot of knave textures so the pack should work too mostly with other maps with use knave textures

                                when im done with all CotS textures ill look at making more textures for other maps.
                                one of my faves is red777, which ill probably look at next. it also uses the same texture-set
