    Hi,

One night ago i found a copy of Quake 64 and hooked up my Nintendo 64 in my brother's room and brought 2 N64 Controllers and then Trevor0402 and I were testing Deathmatch at DM7 and i decided to create a TC about Quake 64

So far i did the Weapon Sounds and the LIT Lighting

    Version 0.1

      The links are dead!

just to tell you the links for Quake 64 Ultra are dead. Bryan and i are remaking the TC so that it could be alive again.

      Here are some snapshots

        Reply from xBRYAN2000x

Yeah, Trevor0402 did the music so far some of it and im about to do some more sounds using Recording Project 64 and Audicity

and will try to find a N64 Map named DM7 (A New Map from Quake 64)
Since its from DirectQ I could create N64 styled Map Packs or Addons

did quake 64 use the rumbel pack? it would be sweet if it did and that worked for pc. i also understand that Quake 64 had a 2 player split screen for 2 player that would be sweet for pc also. keep up the good work!

I still dont understand the excitement over this conversion.
Even the Ultra 64 project seemed kinda weird.

If you have the original Quake, why play a crappier version?

And actually besides just ripping music and sounds,
most other things like water lava sky were by MH coded into DirectQ....

Because the maps were not as detailed as the original maps.

Have u tried playing the n64 Quake rom on an emu on your pc?

                    How is it a TC?

Do not include the Quake game in any of your downloads. Quake is a copyright protected game and is not freeware.

I'm surprised that you can't just use an N64 decompiler and do a quick port job anyway :v

But as much as I enjoy going back and playing games with limitations and trying to do something quirky, I see no point in this. :/

(and I'm a die hard N64 fan, so I would normally be at least interested in something like this.)
