    That's true, a shame though. But I don't see the point in trying to make a tool to do that.

    Though I have seen people extract the map files from n64 games, I'm sure there would be an annoying, weird and backwards way to do it. Might not be any good, but would still be amusing. xD

      Most people do it through a program called DX-Ripper. It basically takes a 3D screenshot of what is rendered on the screen.
      Won't really work for Quake maps as it'd make it a single model and they'd have to build the map still anyways. Would just give them the guidelines.

        It's fruitless if you ask me.. It's a very subpar release of Q1 IMO,much like every PC to Console port of a FPS shooter I've ever dealt with.
        There would be MORE nostalgia found in getting a cheap ass N64 off ebay + the damn game, firing it up on your bigscreen/flatscren TV or Monitor. Tell me that does't sound awesome....
