Definately sad news. I played some dp for a little while today and was looking at the shambler after he killed me. It really does look great , as do the others. Thank you for all the hard work.

P.S. All that was left was the ogre!!!

Be aware that you have to ask for permission to do anything with the "Bestiary" part. The license is very non-free and restrictive.

It is not clear if one is even allowed to host the files elsewhere. Judging from USA law I doubt it is even remotely legal to do so without infringing the creators' copyright. The license tries to be a mixture of GPL and incompatible new clauses which is really bad.

Also could you please(!) give us a reason why you feel that you must delete the site?

We never confirmed a license, though I was suggested that GPL could have been a good starting point.
What's in the site should be considered a draft, because we postponed the duty to specify details just before the release of the first full pack of skins.

More infos (about the license) will be available in the evening...........

What jaw droppingly sad news (my jaw literally dropped when I read the post saying so)! Especially since we may not get the Ogre and Chthon skins after all. I also echo the people who say they should be released before it gets shut down... they look fine as they are and would be a nice send off.

Also on the one hand if life is not permitting it I can understand not being able to continue on with the work but I don't understand why you have to delete all the content and not even let anyone else mirror\archive it which is pretty much taking your ball and going home.... a petty action. Did someone greatly offend you that much? I'm sorry that happened if so.

Why don�t you release the two last skins at the end? So your project gets "a little bit complete".

I think the main reason for Reforged was time, manpower and how much they wanted to accomplish. Their team was quite small to cover ALL of the content they wished to do.
I wouldn't shut it down, I would keep it going but try and get some more members to assist you. I'm sure if you asked around many would love to help out - myself included.
