I've only just downloaded these skins a couple of nights ago and I must admit that I was worried to.

I expected the high definition images to destroy the in-game performance but This is not the case is it? If anything It just takes a little while longer to load a map.

Anyone else thinking that these skins are going to be real resource-eaters can think again, their almost photorealistic awesomeness only serves to make me up my game on my gib skins...

give them a bit time - its surely not dead - doesn't help if we stress them out. besides of that, we all have a life besides quake.

Dont know any of the people on the team - but school has started and all. If any are in university they can be quite busy. My guess is we will see the next release around Christmas
