@ooppee: i recogniced also after my post.

@Seven: Glad to hear that you like my thoughts and suggestions. And if i look at yours and ooppee's work and how fast it comes and grows i'm sure you could do something like a "HQ weapon pack" for normal quake and the MP's. You both do great work and i really love it how my quake gets nicer and nicer every day.

I know you cannot hold it back ooppee

I thought we would talk about it via PM first, before you release your dragon.

Ok, now that you did it, let me tell everybody:
I gave up on doing the Lava Supernailgun due to lack of programs and experience in skinning.
As all of you know, ooppee is hammering out these things like crazy in no time.
So I finally gave it into his professional hands.

Now that everybody knows I am a noob, lets continue with my feedback:
Its hard to say from only looking at your screens, but I would edit the following:
        - the lava lines in the texture i gave you could be just a little more shining/brighter/hotter
        - The sphere-like ending of the barrel should have the same lava texture as the barell itself (the one I gave you). Or shouldnt it ? I guess your idea was to keep them black, right ? ...must try it in-game.
        - Something should be done with the broad brown angled ring around the barells, but I am not sure what exactly. Their actual condition is almots left original, right ? Maybe you have a good idea. Or someone else ?
        - I would reduce a little the glowing on the front of the barell. It looks VERY good, but maybe a little bit less. But hey, the fading-out glow looks outstanding !!

As I said, its hard to say if my sugestions make sense or not, by only looking at your screens.

I must say, I am blown away from your extremely fast progress again my friend.
How loing did you lay your hands on it ? 2 hours only ???
        Unbelievable !

Thank you very much for creating such a beauty !

        Kind Regards,
        Seven
