all i did was rename what texture-names the model uses, which was a 10second work.
all credits go to the maker of the shamblers castle mod the models were taken from,
and to seanstar for creating the skins..are you curious about what all there is out there in terms of HD content for quake?

Agreed to give thanks to the creators of the models and skins, but gratitude needs to be given for time taken as well splitterface.
This applies to ALL who are creative and helpful here. It is obvious that thanks and gratitude are needed more on this forum for those that give.

thanx to gdiddy i also acquired the fiend skin that seanstar made. huge thanx gdiddy for not providing me with both the skins for vore and for the fiend
just took the time to also set up the fiend for usage with the SMCs multi-skin feature

same goes for the fiend as i said earlier about the vore:
just drop the pk3 in your ID1 folder and add/change the line 'set demonmultiskin 2' to your autoexec.cfg.
same again goes for this monster:
if you use sevens multi-skin pk3, you'll have to remove the demon.mdl and h_demon.mdl files from seven's pk3.
otherwise you'll get mix of low-poly + hi-poly model instead of 2 skins for the hi-poly model

once again, thanx to Gdiddy i required another modded skin by seanstar, this time the enforcer
changes seanstar made to enforcer skin arent that huge, mainly small touches to the brightness of skin in places, changing the visor, and adding more blood to the gib but thought it was nice,
so i took the time to set up seanstars skin for enforcer too for SMCs multi-skin feature: (left original, right skin by seanstar)

same goes again for this secondary skin, just dump the pk3 inside your ID1 folder,

decided to make a new thread for all the secondary skins ive made for the hi-poly models so the posts about them dont clutter other threads and they can be found more easily

thanx to gdiddy i aqcuired the furry shambler skin for ID1 model
and the hi-res dragon for rogue which seanstar mentioned in the first post in this thread
thought id post links to them here and make these 2 skins by seanstar available for you all again

whats up
ive been busy recently and haven't spent any time working on quake.
splitterface has been nice to upload these skins, I don't mind.
a couple things I was working on a while ago.
the knight skin by disaster I haven't used in the past because it looked a little to blurry ingame.
I do however like the glow spots effect, since the smc with multiple skins I 've used
this skin and even reworked it to look sharp next to the reforged knight.
added eyes that glow in the dark to this skin.
one thing you might find interesting is this water shader tarbaby idea I had.

nice to have you back cuz you did make some awesome stuff for quake and it was a shame to have you out of the community
glad you dun mind me reposting the skins. if you dun mind i can keep the links up forever and they can be kept as everlasting links, ive uploaded the skins to mediafire so the files will remain available forever
or if you want you can use use the same links in your first post so that people can find them easily and the files will always be available
i dunno about the eyes on the hellknight, at the same time i like the eyes but also think id prefer him without the eyes. although they do add something to the skin. but at same time i liked him without cuz it made him in-human.
the reworked knight skin i dunno either.. looks like you also adjusted coloring a bit? or is that just cuz of the lighting in that pic?
if not id like to try it, although imo the skin didnt really look blurry in-game
water-spawn... nah, imo the spawn shouldnt be transparent. nice idea but not my cup-o-tea
could you share the knight and hellknight though, so we could try them ourselves?

Well, the transparent tarbaby is an interesting idea. However, on the screenshots it looks as if it's too transparent and can hardly be spotted. My suggestion would be to reduce transparency to improve visibility.
