Maybe twist the two "breast" plates a little bit more like the ones on the sixpack? So it'll look more then a breast, don't know how to explain it right.

Thanks Ope but that is not it either I need the 1'st version.
The free key to unlock it never gets sent back to you.
If someone has a key for that please PM me.

Also that file is infected with a root kit that tried to overwrite system files!
It was not detected by avg either.

          hi

          this armor looks good

the skinmap was really bad, bluntz looks like hes going to fix the map problem
          though.

this should make a nice armor with a good texture.

          regards

There were several things wrong with it actually.
the model's orientation as well as origins had to be fixed.
I ripped out the baffles so I could look through it and then it needed to be scaled up to size and its rotation fixed.
Next up was getting it skinned and I am no Michael Angelo for sure as you can see.
I figure Sean just may do it for you if you ask politely.
            Here is your model
            http://www.mediafire.com/file/d42s48szbwmbvig/armor.mdl
            And here is the skin
            http://www.mediafire.com/file/1vqj2a...Material01.tga
I did it all in Blender so if you want to just paint the skin and repost it, I will export it again.
            Good luck

Yes it is an uncorrected map.
I think that the Q1 engine needs it to be flipped vertically and horizontally.
Maybe someone could give me a pointer on its direction?
I have not done any real work like this in YEARS
and most things have changed or gotten sold off.
It took a while to find Slayer's texture pack but
              I did finally,check these out.http://ftp.heanet.ie/disk1/sourcefor...exture%20pack/
I think they may be PornStar worthy even though they are from 2003.

Still no luck finding Reptile vers.1

                hey bluntz

i used the original md3 becuase the model you posted was see through.

made a new skinmap and a pretty rough texture...here is what ive got so far after about 1 hour work.

i should post the working model later today.

                regards

                  Sweet!

I will check it out maybe I uploaded the wrong file.
Did you see the SS of it in qrack it did not show up see thru in it.unless you meant seeing thru the sleves and out the other side,if so then yes I did that intentionally by removing the baffles.
This one is an exported map from QME that is corrected but QME wants 8 bit.
This is more an exersize in .mdl in blender for me.
I never got to the .md3 yet hehe
Also did you have to make all the other corrections that I did with the .mdl?
                  like scale,rotation and origin?

                      Oh yea that's sexy,
To quote Sabretooth from X-men Origins

                      "Ewwwwwwe Shiny!"

Looks like you even smoothed it out a bit as well or is that all texturing?
I am still at it learning blender. I have exported it as Q3 .map Q2 .md2 and am working up to .md3
I'm a carpenter not a painter! so I am putting off the texture work for another
                      day.
For some weird reason I got the urge to Drive my spyder after working on this all day and a good thing too since there was 2 inches of water in the floor after I pulled the car cover off.
I left the window cracked DOH!.

So i will remember this as the Mitsu armor.

                        hi

had to edit some more but im almost done with this one.

i decided to go all red because the mesh isnt symmetrical on the shoulders.

Looks really cool! The mesh isn't symmetric? As far as I remember I just duplicated the half when making the model a while back.

                              hey

spent a little more time on shoulders...maybe i was wrong about the model not being symmetrical

                                I'm glad you like it!
BTW the last pic seem to fit more the original approach I had intended for the armor, a long time ago.
