hope you complete that rogue weapon pack soons sean

since a few days ive been playing rogue again and im kinda annoyed at how lame the multi-RL looks now compared to your DMC RL,
and how kind-of lame-ish the plasma-gun looks compared to your standard LG, although that one still looks pretty cool

but i totally cant wait till you release your rogue weapons


btw will you also make the plasmagun work with that flashing effect seven included for it in the SMC?

with a bit of fiddling i took the models from your ID1 pack and fixed them up for rogue with the textures you gave me

and i even made the plasmagun work with the smc plasmagun-flash feature, i modified the texture a bit and whipped up some real quick luma's for normal and flashing plasma-gun to make it look like the red lights on top flash when you shoot



if you want i can share them with you so you can look at them and maybe use them in your pack if you want

hey all,

seanstar gave me the ok to release the plasmagun with my new flash-effect. seeing as the modified model plus base textures were his i wanted to have his permission first before i released my version.




LINK TEMPORARILY REMOVED DUE TO THE FACT THE RL MODEL WAS A COPYRIGHTED MODEL, LINK WILL BE REPLACED SOON WITH A NEW PK3 WHICH CONTAINS ONLY THE PLASMA-GUN


i modified the glow of idle state of plasmagun a bit so it looks a lot better, my first try looked flat and fake, now it looks way better
NOTE: to see the flashing effect of plasmagun, you'll need seven's SMC, and add/set 'set plasmagunanimation 1' to the autoexec.cfg in your rogue folder. the plasmagun will work without the SMC, but you will NOT get the flashing effect when firing without the SMC



and i also wanted to share another quick something i made last night. since i personally use ruohis shotgun instead of the one seanstar provided cuz i think it looks a lot better, but since i got seans other weapons i always thought it was kinda lame that seans weapons have this awesome reflection effect on them but the SG doesnt. so i whipped up a quick effect for the SG, re-using seans script for SSG and fixed it to be used for the SG.

DOWNLOAD REFLECT FOR RUOHIS SHOTGUN
the effect might not be so obvious from the pics, but its very obvious in-game
NOTE: the pk3 only includes reflect map plus shader script, it assumes you already have ruohis shotgun installed. it wont work if you dont have ruohis SG installed already. it also assumes you have seans cubemaps installed already


EDIT: i had forgotten sean has stolen the RL model from valve's deathmatch classic, and thus i am removing the link cuz that model is copyrighted and cannot be used. sorry to everyone, ill replace the link soon with a new link which'll contain only the plasma-gun with the effect i made

sorry all but im taking the multi-RL and plasma-gun PK3 down temporarily,
for the fact that seanstar ported over the RL from valve's deathmatch classic,
which means it is C O P Y R I G H T E D!
and is not allowed to be used in any game or such, modified or not, COPYRIGHT is COPYRIGHT which means NOT ALLOWED at all.

ill soon replace it with a new link containing only the plasma-gun with the effect i made which used a modified model by ruohis
but for now the link will just be deleted temporarily untill i have time to replace it

beside, who are you to say i cannot post anything that you took from someone else. cuz that RL model wasnt made by you, it was made by valve. and netither was that lightning-gun model made by you, it was made by ruohis


and i dont know what i supposedly did wrong in your eyes, but i havent done anything wrong dear.
