Cmon, we are all here cause we love Quake. We all have a different way to contribute and regardless of how awesome that level is - it's done because we want to be a part of something.

I don't know about any past fights, but I do know that they were all a waste of time. I also know that unless one of you murdered the others family member or something that there was nothing that was done that can't be squashed.

I've never been called a "cow that needs to grow up" o.O, but honestly that sounds so ridiculous that I don't think I could take it very seriously if I was.

This community is where I relax and find cool stuff. I came in here to read about the dudes mod. I think it's great that he is modifying SMC. Maybe in ?a year? this thread will be full of cool stuff. Then he can say that he contributed some adjustments to SMC and the thread that brought you more.

I could care less about all the fussing and egos here. I want to enjoy Quake and the contributions of ALL no matter how big or small. I agree credit should be given to creators, but I also know sometimes who did what can get confused or simply forgotten (been there done that). In the end run I'm going to take all the various pieces of Quake I personally enjoy and add it to mine....no matter who created it and whose egos are on the line in their minds. If we all didn't love Quake we wouldn't be here and if we can't be civil and respectful we shouldn't be here IMO.

There was content of your readmes and credits copied into readmes included in my compilation, so there was always detailed info about who did what in your pack.
The only thing that was missing were generic gnu and cc license documents that you wanted to be included with your pack.
You contacted me about it and I immediately reuploaded with all your readmes untouched, than asked if it is ok now, you answered yes.
There was no other interaction between us at all since then, until craziness we are experiencing now...

The drama you've just started is ridiculous, sadly you are not the only person who like modders dramas here...

I remember how enthusiastic I was when I found this place, or when I was dusting off my high school programming course knowledge to finish Nahuel's hud.
It was escape from everyday frustrations. In the end this place left bitter taste in my mouth.

This remote place is populated by silly and sad, sad people me included
