i will agree with u on wow being a discrase but q4 is a great game what id did was they tried th change the game play drasticly for new gamer

I completely agree with you. For me, Quake 1 is the only Quake. Q3 really disappointed me and so did Q4. I saw this Enemy Territory those days and... man. That's not Quake in any meanings. All of them aren't trully sequels for Quake 1, and that's the shit.

Also, the Quake true gameplay is dying. Soon, Quake will become something like Counter-Strike or Battlefield.

Quake 4 was a mediocre, by-numbers FPS at best, and it wasn't made by id anyway, it was made by Raven.

Waaaaaaay too many marines. In fact, when I play, I rarely use them.

Marines have a purpose :] Great against small melee units and mutas. This video doesn't even do any justice on how many marines Dyne had. Here's his marine count before the video takes place.



To get the rest of them out, I morphed my mutas into guardians and raped them alllllll. He had air support tho so I quickly scurried my lurkers into his base and it was gg after I took out his comsat

ahh, reading that makes me want to install Broodwar again.

The problem is, I bought Black Isle Compilation 2 (probably a mistake, those are among the most productivity-killing games ever...) and didn't finish any of them yet. (I'm close in Baldur's Gate 1 though.) So many great games...

I hope SC2 will be linux native... hey, you can always *hope* ...
