Which one you should get depends on why you want one.

80 gigs would be a lot of music, you must want to watch movies on it too? Or even use it for file transfers?

I like my 4 gig Sansa, although I long for a better interface and a better control system; otherwise it does a good job.

I have over 100 gigs of music I believe... I'm a bootleg collector and love listening to bootleg live concerts of my favorite bands. I basically want one for music... listening at work, in the car, etc.

The newer 80 GB Zune has some good reviews but I really don't need all the bells and whistles that come with it (wifi, sharing of music between Zunes, fm tuner). But people have said it's interface is much better than the iPod's, and the touch button on the Zune is supposedly better than the clickwheel on the iPod...

I'm leaning towards an iPod though just because as spooker said, it's tried and true.

I have about 25 gigs of Creed I believe... could be more, I don't remember offhand. Got tons of Creed shows in FLAC and SHN on my harddrive.

I'd say Zune because iPod is overrated....and yeah you have to use iTunes for it too so that is pretty gay.

Personally an MP3 player is an MP3 player - I've got a Phillips one that works just as well.

Whatever you do get something with flash memory. The iPood is so big because it actually uses a small hard drive. Wanna take it on an excersize jog, riding a bike, etc? Yeah, and you can listen to music too! But it will be all broken up and crappy cause the hard drive is bouncing around and the read/write heads are going all over the place.

Flash memory is a chip and there's no moving parts, you could throw the damn thing and still get perfect music, that is until it hits something...
