It's quite common for me to find an RL and have two or three guys of the other team shooting me with SGs, SSGs, or nail guns. Doesn't take long before I'm nearly dead. You're making it seem as if once the other team gets an RL and some armor, the game is over. There ARE other weapons, you know. And it IS possible to get quad just because you don't have an RL.

If you want to get good quick i suggest Dm because it helps your learn to time armour,mega,quad so on... If your located someplace in euro i suggest bigfoot because it has weapons stay dm so you will always have a good weapon and you wont have the problem of getting raped by person with RA + quad and shaft

i've played a couple multiplayer matches and all the people are super good any tips for playing better?

It might help to practice on your own against bot opponents in deathmatch. I recommend the Frogbot. I use the Holywars Frogbot mod for vanilla DM and practice mode, but there are some CA and RA versions of the Frogbot out there too. You'll find the links if you do a forum search for "Frogbot."


Be sure to use all the commands eieio posted and also these:

// don't bob up and down when walking
