Did you mean Inclement weather? That would make more sense to me. Hate to jump on the "disagree with mindz" bandwagon here, but yeah do you really think you'll get compensated? I'd be pissed to if I paid a premium for shipping and didn't receive my items quicker than normal. But then I look outside my window and see nothing but the white death. I wouldn't expect companies to ask their employees to risk their lives so someone can get their computer parts on time. I don't think a top heavy delivery truck is the best thing to be driving around on roads covered in ice and snow, and as efess already pointed out, flying through storms isn't very wise either. If I had to venture a guess, I'd assume that you don't live in an area that's affected by snow very often.

Brett Favre would have double bagged it. I order loads from the Egg and other places daily. I have had my issues with shipping naturally. I find that the supplier blames the shipper and the shipper will blame the anything...supplier/weather/holidays. Newegg is good to customers, they may work something out...let us know what ya settle for

Assume all you want, I grew up in Smyth County Virginia, if anyone knows what snow is and the pitfalls of driving in it, I'm one of those people. Here's the thing, I see a lot of you thinking "Wow mindz is a dick" , but thats really not the case. I'm a firm believer in non-negotiable terms, I myself have had to work (for free, mind you) because I told the customer (home owner) I would be done with the job in X amount of days, and for whatever reason or excuse, thats simply not how the world turns. Some people might be laid back when it comes to their money but myself coming from a far from wealthy family... I understand atleast how buisness is supposed to be done, and if everyone's excuse or reasons for not meeting schedules, time frames,deadlines,etc... was acceptable, there wouldnt shit get accomplished.

Thats why you can't mix and match friends/family and buisness, its just a bad idea all together.

ANYWAYS, my shit's on time ~ and out for delivery. GG

FedEx wins, 5-0, thats what I am talking about too ,btw.

The only thing I can figure is that a larger portion of you haven't had 'real world' buisness experiences with all types of employers. I've done work for home owners, real estate brokers, committee's, and many other shit, including a Bath & Body works (smelly stores in your local mall, hahah)

by far committees are the shittiest type of person(s) to work for.

That is exactly what im talking about, the part that I outlined in bold !!
If shipping occurs on-time, as expected, FedEx & Newegg both have my gratitude, and even larger kudo's to FedEx for taking care of buisness like a champ.

                FedEx vs Mother Nature

FedEx wins, obviously I will be throwing recommendations / praises around for the ON-TIME delivery, even in the face of a huge blizzard. two thumbs up!!!

I've been building a comp since around noon today , also babysitting & trappin. Unfortunately, babysitting and daily activities has kept progress at a CRAWL, which is fine and dandy, taking it slow and having patience when building a rig are to be expected......

but the youngin has been hell on wheels, she was pretty cute with the first 6-10 "Aren't you done yet? Why does it take you so long! My movie isn't playing!I'm thirsty!I need crayons! and on, and on, annnnnd on..... LOL.

now, while I wait on my internal sata terrabyte to arrive, I'll smoke a fatty and eye ball the piss out of the shiny new things

I just wanted to point something out about the UPS 3 day shipping thing.

The UPS 3 day shipping service starts once UPS gets the item from Newegg... it takes Newegg time (this is usually done by the day after you click on confirm order) to process the order and such... so expect your package to be there in 4 or 5 days, not 2 or 3.

In my experience, as long as you put your order in before 12 PST, it'll be in UPS hands same day.. Not even using the Rush My order option

I get my stuff next day when they ship from the NJ warehouse

Same, cept next day when shipped from TN.

So majority of the time i get it faster for less with that option. One particular brown driver ALWAYS fucks my shit up tho. Esp. cases. Ya know the ones with FRAGILE taped all over it IN RED.

I always select ground shipping from Newegg and get my stuff in 2 or 3 days. Never been later then 3 days and usually get it in 2.

On Amazon, I paid for the "Amazon Prime" thing and get free 2 day shipping. It's usually right on time in 2 days. Once I got my stuff next day!! lol
