Dont even get me started on this shit, if I want to buy my kid a happy meal once a month then thats on my, hell if I want to feed him a happy meal everyday thats on me, the problem is these laws that are "good for us" are just the beginning, the health care bill will help things like this go through, because now the government has a "stake" in what people pay for medical costs, California is especially screwed, do a search for a ruling Ab32 of California, it wasnt even passed by the legislature because it was approved by C.A.R.B. , its amazing how screwed up this state is, who the fuk do these people think are going to pay for all the added expenses that the "big bad corporations" have to pay,,, US, we are going to pay for EVERYTHING or we will buy from somewhere else, then when the company doesnt make enough money it will relocate(cant blame them), of course its a coastal California area that does this, do they really not have anything better to do, this states fuked, liberals looks at the majority of citizens as idiots, search on youtube for "Bill Maher Georgle Lopez"(not exectly sure where it will come up, Im on my phone so I cant check), theres a clip where he explains to Lopez what the "Democrats" are here to do, imho hes the mainstream, but hes the only one stupid enough to come out and say it, sorry about all the commas but im on my phone and for some reason if I put a period or exclamation then I cant type anything afterwards, its wierd I know,

I'd like to point out that the goal isnt to take the toy out, its to take the food out.
The children only care about the toy. They dont care what garbage is being thrown in there most of the time. If mcdonalds wants to sell the toy thats fine, they are just trying to make the food that goes along with it a better choice for developing children.
Yes they are overstepping their bounds, but I do think their intentions are good, and their argument is sound.
Also the tobacco reference is a pertinant one, in that mcdonalds food is harmful and is being directly marketed to children. Tobacco cant be directly marketed to children anymore.

Mcdonalds is garbage. But again its not the government's job to monitor what we eat, or put stipulations on what the salt or fat content food at a fast food company serves. All fast food places have to display the nutritional info where you can see it.

With these types of things going on it just opens up an opportunity for these people who obviously know better than us to do alot of things. I wonder when some people will realize that this is how it starts. Maybe when games like Quake or Doom are banned because it is "shown" that it has a negative impact on kids. And its obvious that parents cant handle these types of problems without the governments help.

Shit, theyre already trying to slowly do away with SUVs and trucks with the CAFE standards. Whoever buys a SUV takes the resposibility of paying more in tax in the form of gas taxes. Hell, my 6 year old diesel F250 tags are still $480!!! And guess what, because of AB32 it now has to be smogged(smoke tested) for another $60 probably. Its just tax on top of tax.

Ya and 32grams of fat for one thing... ew...

I only consume 5-8grams of fat per meal with 3 meals everyday and have a 100 calorie snack in-between (usually banana or yogurt.

My diet consists of 3meals as stated above, ranging 260-500 calories per meal and 5-8 grams per fat each meal = roughly a 1200 calorie - 20 grams fat diet with high protein intake. that double-down is basically like me eating lunch+dinner+can'o'lard in about 5 minutes.
