Well, it "hurts" your whole body, not only the fat that's on your hips (or thanks to excercise not). It gets your arteries "stuck", don't know how to say it in english but i think this explains it very well -> Link. You could get that even if you are slim. Exercise doesn't just keep you slim, it keeps your heart strong. When its strong, it helps keep your circulatory system clean of plaque. However, eating that shit isn't doing your digestive system any favors. No amount of exercise can fix that.

I know how clogged arteries can lead to high blood pressure, as u have the same amount of blood, but less surface area for it to flow around, hence the high compression (pressure). Im well aware and afraid of that poop.

Weighing in late on this one, but gotta agree with DR on this. Interesting on how alot of controversial laws generate and pass from California, that are suppose to protect society, actually factor as big reasons why their state budgets are always tank every year. They claim the revenue from legalized weed will help the budget, but every year it gets worse than before. This one, while not surprising, is particularly sad, because they choose to hide behind the interests of children, but yet they have made it a lot easier for kids to get their hands on weed than any other state in the union. Maybe thats the real happy meal? Next you will see a smokey McPot burger on the menu, and a bunch of kids asleep in the playground area.

Example: in high school i saw a vid where a drunk driver got in a bad accident and couldnt pee on his own, so without pain killers doctors shoved a 1/2 or 3/4 '' tube up his peehole... VILE ! hence me never drinking and driving...
Teach the children from young ages what is exactly in this food, how its made, etc etc , all the particulars. And stop taking kids to Mcdonalds and BK and fatburger for rewards and praise, eg: baseball games hockey games, report cards etc... they may not need veggie bean sprout smoothies, nor would they enjoy a roast beef sandwich for a job well done just go get a damn ice cream and go home and cook for your kid.. cause if u raise them to think mcdonalds in terms of comfort food or as a reward system then all is lost... thats where the problem lies, not in the availability of the product, but how its viewed (glorified)... it is tasty tho

EDIT: ftr, i wasnt allowed to eat any of these foods till i was roughly 9 or 10 yrs old... but when i turned 14-15......

watch the way they stopped trying to appeal to kids in cigarette ads since the gov stepped in on it... i wonder if they would ever do that in this case of junkfood... but thats all its about tho isnt ? the kiddos ? now im starting to see it for the shame it is for real... healthying the happy meal up will most def make it less appealing, nobody wants to be the kid who brought healthy food in his pack to the field trip, some cream cheese and green pepper sandwich... ok thats a bit much, but its plain to see the point, thats a vicious cycle till its stopped, i mean in israel mcdonalds is too expensive for the average consumer LOL*iknoweh? either way, not alot of ppL in israel are fat as a result of it, there isnt much in the way of "junk food" there, not like here in Canada or in the USA... some are just fat from humus ! well u gotta take a look at some real evidence here, there must be some somewhere.. its kinda like how demographics works, if a bunch of kids in schools and malls, and all over an area in general start smokin those, and talkin about it and adults see them smoking cigarillos, then that will all get talked about and something will get done at some point, As a smoker, i like to see anything that will deter youth from giving smokes a chance, i wish i had never started...
As for parents, thats a dead topic to me, ive seen it all, ive had frinds from good and bad parents, and u just cant predict which way they are gonna go, and it ALL depends on the child, no, PERSON involved, cause babies and even children are ppL and will ultimately do what they want to do, be it pig out or smoke out, shit i do BOTH !! daily and im from a good home with loving & caring parents that sheltered me from that shit & explained all that follows, so "parenting" is really hit or miss, u wont get it till you are a parent and the reality of them doing what they want sets in
all u can do is aim your offspring bullet in a straight line, and hope it actually goes straight and is not some dam heat seeking missile !

Yeah all it takes it something traumatizing that you've done, seen, or had happen to you to never want to do/have happen again. Like, my family used to have this guy who worked for us and he was drunk of his ass all the time, and my dad had to always go pick him up from the cops after they were done beating him, now I kinda never want to drink or go near any police.

I've known the name Joe Camel sense i was like 4, one time my dad and I were going into a convenience store an they had a Camel poster in the window and I said "look, It's Joe Camel" and then some harried old guy said to me "Yeah, Joe Camel; He's your friend" or something along those lines. Let's just say that bloody advertising was really effective.

Obviously you can't 100% control what your kids do, but neither can the government. Alcohol is illegal until 21 and over, yet high school kids go to parties and get smashed. Weed is illegal, but theres millions of people out there that smoke up anyway.

This is why I detest big government: the cigarettes were an example. Imagine how many responsible adults liked having those, but had them taken away by Big Brother because kids were smoking them. In this case, the ban was more or less effective, because there's not as big of a demand for it as say, weed. If there was enough demand, someone would be making them. However, in most cases, government parenting is not effective... hence the partying high school kids.
