You attempt to unleash your infamous impulses upon the universe. You even throw yourself into a bent-knee flexed-armed Super Saiyan pose and give the world a good healthy WWHHHRRROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!! !!!>impulse 255
>impulse 9
...you aren't exactly surprised when nothing happens. Cheat codes don't seem to exist in this place.
You walk over to the edge of the ramp and hop up onto it and follow it to the entrance of the hallway. You hip your shotgun and grit your teeth for whatever may be around the corner.... you shout as you jump around the corner. Theres nothing of interest here....except a marking on the far left wall. You walk over to inspect it. You aren't just dead sure, but they seem to be claw marks, about 3 inches deep into the wall, and about 4 and a half feet across. No corpses here, or even blood. You opt to turn around and go back, but when you do, you notice another mark on the wall your facing. Upon closer inspection, you determine that it can only be a buckshot blast. Small twinges of blood spatter the blast. Using your expertise in guns and ammo, you determine that this was a blast from a 20 gauge shotgun, probably one no different from your own standard issue. You also determine that it was fired from appoximately 15 feet away based on the spread of the buckshot. While you're inspecting the wound, you hear a faint sound coming from behind the far left wall, the one with the claw marks. You go over and press your face against the claw marks to get a better hearing. You hear soft, muffled growling from something on the other side of the wall. Not directly behind, a little far off, but definitely on the other side. You don't see any doors or buttons. You take out your axe and hit the wall with the claw marks, but nothing happens. Hm. Guess this wall is really just...a wall.>inspect ramp area at end of room past door

You go around the entire immediate area, carefully inspecting the walls, floors, and ceilings. You find little of interest...a few lights, all of which you inspect not only with your eyes but also with your axe. Nothing opens up. You find some black residue on the floor over by the slipgate, but it provides little clues about anything. You suspect that the residue is a result from interdimensional travel, but you know very little about teleportation.>closely examine floor ceiling and walls for entire room
You press the messagemode1 button on the tiny microphone inside your helmet and speak into it. You ask if anyone knows how to shot web. You hear nothing, not even static. You decide that you are on your own here, but you opt to leave your microphone and headset on just in case.>say how do I shot web

Its just you out here, killer. If this is multiplayer, no one else has logged into this freaky-ass server.
You decide that the entrance of this place, while perhaps the safest place at the moment (the Blown-Apart Tortured Corpse may say differently, but you learned long ago not to talk to the dead), is not where you need to be right now. If you're going to get to the bottom of whatever the hell is going on right now and, more importantly, get out of here before you are horribly ripped apart by some hideous interdimensional creature, you should probably progress through the level and see if you can find a way to the exit...if there is one. You also keep the soft growling you heard earlier in mind. There may not be any friendlies here (that you can tell) but you are most definitely not alone. You really hate being subtle, but you also really hate being dead. Stealth may be a good idea for the time being.
But thats just that crazy narrator talking. What does he know, after all?Last edited by Shadowswift; 08-08-2011, 01:55 PM.

You type in some crack codes on the console pad on your arm.>sv_cheats 1

*BUZZZAAAT CRACKLE CRACKLE*
Your console starts spitting out sparks and smoke. Shit. That was scary. You look back down at your wrist.

Your system has recovered from a serious error. Checksum error 89006. Please contact server administrator. Host_Error: connect Failed.
It appears the powers that be here don't want you cheating or screwing with the environment. Attempting this seems to have severely limited your console access for the time being. Better leave it alone before you set your arm on fire. Tough break...
After the smoke dissipates and the console reboots itself, you type in this simple command. Command x;x doesn't seem to do anything, but it does seem that aliases still work. This may be useful in the future...you can only wonder how.> alias "x" "x;x"

You head to the elevator and push the button activate it. The elevator hums and drops to the bottom floor. You honestly expect to be ambushed by a barrage of shotgun blasts from some pissed-off Grunts, but like the entrace, this place is empty also...>proceed to elevator
You head to the central bridge. Theres a small pool of blood here. The water below is tinted a light red.
...yikes...
Given that fact as well as the growling you heard earlier (which, if your calculations of the map are correct, were coming from somewhere down that tunnel), you opt NOT to follow that tunnel just yet.
Ahead is a door to the main complex
Behind is the elevator
To your right is the horrible, blood-tinged watery tunnel of terror.
