Bing was late to the party. Then again, the same could have been said for Google when it came out (I used Altavista search heavily back then)

So you think Bing came out 'late'. What does that change about the search engine's performance here and now? Do you think AMD's Phenom II x6 was late to the party because they didn't have that to compete with the Pentium 4 when it came out in 2001?e|------------------------0---------------

I'm just not interested in those types of glasses... I'm sorry to say it, but it's true. The fast evolution of technology is causing human beings to lose their culture. I miss the old days... People used to pick up a phone and talk to their friends. Or better yet, they would walk to a friend's house and communicate with the person directly. Yes, some changes in technology have made my life better. But, in general, I feel that the quick evolution of tech devices can lead to harmful consequences. (You might laugh at what I'm saying). But I wouldn't underestimate the power of technology. Who knows? Maybe technology will oppose human beings; there might be a war between humans and robots. (Even Stephen Hawking spoke about this)."Through my contact lenses, I have seen them all, I've seen wicked clowns and broken dreams / Crazy men in jumpsuits trying to be extreme and messing around with your computer screen" - Creative Rhyme (03/23/2012)

Bing is second rate until someone offers real reason for me to bother.
The current search engine I use (Google obv) has been getting my search needs for so long now, and I am *always* successful on finding the information I seek with the current choice of search engine.
What does Bing do that Google doesn't do better?Want to get into playing Quake again? Click here for the Multiplayer-Startup kit! laissez bon temps rouler!

I think it is good Bing exists because there needs to be competition in search engines, but I really do not like the layout of Bing. Yahoo is on the verge of being dead and Google needs competitors to keep them honest.
Any company achieving monopoly status develops a management culture of mediocrity. It is inevitable because management of any company is done by humans, and complacency is not only a major threat to innovation but irreverisble company culture erosion which is even more dangerous.
(Because if a company culture becomes dominated by a complacency attitude, it cannot be fixed and has negative environmental effects that can last for decades.)Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. Back to "glasses" topic. I'm not sure if this is the future, but as these devices get smaller they will end up being either worn or implanted in some manner.
If you take a modern iPhone/Android phone, they actually beat a 1998 era computer: 960 x 640 resolution, built-in Wifi internet, sound, video including hardware acceleration, touchpad, several GB to tens of GB of storage.
Apparently these glasses will be using retina tracking and voice commands.Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.
