I like Romney, but he's struggling in FL, VA which he was supposed to win. I expect Ohio to not be close in the end.

There is no path to victory.

A shame in some ways, since I think Romney would have pulled out all the stops to try to turn around the country like he did as governor, running the Olympics, his business pursuits.

But at the same time, Obama inherited an impossible mess and has impossible gridlock and has done some things no one in the past had the guts to do (Getting rid of Don't Ask, Don't Tell comes to mind. Not a "political winner", probably 90% of people don't "really care" --- yet this isn't 1950 and clinging to outdated crusty stuff from bygone eras for no reason is stupid. And he's done some things like that.).

And the American thing to do is to get behind the guy who won the election, and that's what I plan to do.

Argue ---> Election ---> Winner ---> Argument Over. The End.

That's one of the fun things about democracy in action.

Florida, Virginia and Colorado aren't faring well for Romney (slightly behind in all with most of the vote counted). So he's losing in 2 of the 3 and it may be 3 of 3 of those once the votes are counted.

Doesn't look like this is going to be a 1 state loss. Probably 2-3 or even 4.

The electoral votes are not cast until december 15th how in the fuck do they call obama for a win?? Can you say FUCKING RIGGED?? the last 3 elections have been called the same night as the election was held. Its not supposed to be called unless its a landslide. In this case the electoral vote would be called in front of the head of the senate on Jan 6th 2013 to determine who won by electoral votes. This election shit is completely rigged why do we even fucking vote???

So we will all go vote on Tuesday, and before the sun sets in California at least one of the TV networks will have declared a winner. By midnight, one of the candidates will have probably claimed victory and some will have conceded defeat. But not until the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December, when the electors of the Electoral College meet in their state capitals and cast their votes will we really have a new president and vice president elect.
