    I think this is essential to CTF. In my opinion, if there's an odd number of players on the server, we should start with even numbers on each team, and if one team gets ahead, then the guy on the sidelines should join the losing team until it catches up. Rinse and repeat.
    I think this would be a great direction for the CTF culture to go in. Getting raped in CTF by unfair teams really sucks for all involved, and i think that's the biggest potential pitfall for CTF.

    • So, I modified the hook code at crctf.clanhdz.com simply because more than often people feel compelled to hook players to death. This has been something always in Q1 ctf, and something that has always annoyed the hell out of me. So, while you can still hook someone to death, I've made it so that if the difference between the velocities of the two players is >500 (ie normal runspeed is 320) then the chain will break. So if your "hooked" just running away wont help. Also when the hook "tears" off it hurts the guy with the hook in his back 10points.

      Some people where asking me WTF is up with the hook?
