lol.. this doesn't sound like a tourney if matches are just being randomized .. schedule actual dates (have the matches start in a few days from now).. and go from there.. therefore you give some time for players to have a heads up for their match

you are doing a good job. I think its incredibly tough to get the quake crowd to commit to anything... You may want to get everyone to agree on a tourney night like sundays and get at least 3-5 matches out of the way on thosse nights. if you can schedule more through the week then great and if not, then you what you have to get done on sundays. If you come to the point where you are continually having to wait on 1 person or team, either substitue or forfeit them.

Agreed. Sometimes people dont come here every day to check on messages.
If we post the teams, and the maps and the times things should play pretty smooth. This way u wont have voting after each map. its a schedule and people will want to play on time. Maybe sunday start at 7pm and do 3 games in 75 minutes, then switch to next pair of teams, 6 total matches then finish the night with 8 on 8 pub

My schedule is mon-fri i work 3:30pm-11:30pm (mountain standard time) i get home at 1am (mountain standard time) -07:00GMT

Sat/Sun i'm free the entire day of these days. (unless i do some shift trade at work which i rarely do unless i need too).
