This will only work if it's a 1 night thing, we all know this as we've 3waved for over 10 years and this is what's happened - for the last 10 years.

Sunday nights have been a traditional tourney night (for any mod really), too much talk about them never gets them going, so we gotta set it up, get the word out for a week - then play it.

Anybody remember the 2-2 CAx tournaments I used to host weekly (Sundays) that were 2-2? If you played in them you remember the tournament site we used, where it randomly generated teams or let you put in your own teams then setup the bracket for you and players on the site could pm each other, etc, and it showed each server the next game was on. I still have that site. So basically whoever shows up, I make as an "active" player on the site, then create the brackets that night live. It's fast, easy, and simple. Using mIRC to as a meeting grounds worked well for this.

You didn't acknowledge my posts of interest chad, but it doesn't matter,it wasn't your place to.

Zero had become the CTF server of choice for the community,why Yayo was hosted on the same location/box I don't know,I just think it was idiotic, and if Mono has a problem with you, it didn't start with him calling you a bot,it started with hosting yayo in the same spot.

Phenom can attest to the aggrivation of starting something that people enjoy, and having the tables turn in the blink of an eye (Bomber switches from IRONROCKET host to ClanHDz host, in the end Phenom got the shitty end of the stick)

It's okay though, all last night I kept seeing Yayo and Zero have 1 or 2 players on each one,so hosting yayo in the same spot effectively divided the CTF community, for whatever reason. I can't see any of this being good intentioned from the start of it all,Yayo being hosted in the same location.

It's a pissing contest between Mono and Frenzy, and the CTF players are being sprayed with the splash damage !

Wow. Mindz, ask the community, Yayowave was planned months before Zero came up. Please, don't start your "server war" theories here on a 3wave tournament thread. (p.s. Added you, apologies on missing that post).

As well, when I ordered the server, I had no idea it was the same host Monoxide was using. Didn't realize till later when I status'd both servers.

And to be honest, I'm glad yayowave exists. Because Zero hadn't become the "community choice", it was the only choice in Chicago. With a hot headed admin at that. Even till this day Monoxide is welcome on yayowave, as, am I'm not banned and sure I'm welcome on zero.

This was never a pissing contest, as I stated above, I forewarned many players yayowave was coming in January wayyyy before January bud. Take that high school drama queen assumption shit elsewhere, bruh.

I assume nothing, and base my opinion on facts. Whether you intended or didn't intend , the facts remain the same,and I can understand why he would have some issue's.
If you can't see why he would have issue's,then look no further you'll never figure it out.

a 2v2 tourney worked well just last year, where we kept stats over a period of a few weeks. me and disco rule.

frankly, I dont give a fuck about frenzy. He call me a ****** and I banned him. enough said.

Nobody is ass grabbing his post, I simply assisted based on the answers givin. If you're looking for people to take offense to your posts, instead of helping towards a positive direction, maybe you should re-evaluate your posts.

Fact: You assume that it wasn't based on your post, and think it was something intended to split up the community.
Fact: You are creating a "server war" in your own head, Mono and I have never once argued about the servers.

Frenzy please don't use your moderator ability to do stuff to others posts or signatures except as "proper" moderation activities (delete spam, remove offensive posts, censor extremely offensive content, enforce existing forum bans, etc). Misusing moderator is the kind of stuff that makes the world a worse place and you've been a highly productive member of the Quake community for such a long time.

I'm pretty sure as Rook said, Vis and Bosh will join this, that puts us up to 12, 10 solid so far.

I also talked to Fatpipes today, putting up a Texas server with them, as well as a Chicago server. I'll turn the current yayowave server into something else and let its 4 months run out. They run way smoother than the ones Monoxide and I use currently.
