im moving forward with tourney in order to get ctf up and running again

Almost anyone else would have been flattered.
If you cared anything at all about the CTF players you would not have tried to
torpedo the tourney.

Chad.. you, like Mindz.. have a tendency to come into completely normal threads and try to make a shitstorm Drama out of nothing.. I don't care about your feud or what not but I'm out of this tournament because of stupid little shit like this that has plagued Quake for many years.. I was ready to go for this shit but I'm totally turned off now and it's not worth it.. no matter how many times you try to do something good (Mono or whomever), people want to shit all over it.

Nice try, but don't be bending me out of shape because you simply failed to show up THREE weeks in a row,and ruined my participation in the tourney.

I already done that, and I AM bent out of shape about it. But, that doesn't mean I'm to be compared to anyone.

Although,now that you compare me to Frenzy, then sure. I'm very vocal,I get the point across, and some times,peoples feet get stepped on when I comment. Just like I have zero respect for Tremor for his failures about the kimp situation and the QuakeTX servers.


He's an ex-clan mate of mine,but then again,who of you guys aren't?? Just because I've been your friend for X amount of years doesn't include some sort of special privy's or preconcieved notion that I won't call you a fn sell-out for the cause of the continuation of Q1.

However you want to take it, nobody is trying to torpedo the tournament. I have no tendency to come in and start drama Rampage, and quite frankly your opinion doesn't matter to me here, and nor does your reasoning for not wanting to play in a tournament, you're not a person that consistently shows up anyhow. And if you're all "down" now, that's on you, you control your own emotions, man up.

I'm fine with moving on as well Monoxide. I'd much rather there be peace in this community. For the few of you who think I want to sabotage a tournament of 3wave CTF? You're crazy, and borderline retarded. Two conditions you should have checked out.

I didn't give Mono any new banning code; it's just the regular stuff.

Personally, I dont think it's healthy to ban people that aren't hacking.
But, if one is paying for a server then it's their rules.

The netQuake multiplayer scene is pretty bleak; with less than 16 players playing each MOD, some of which overlap.

We could almost have a Quake-triathalon with competing teams play CA, CTF, DM ... on CTF1 and DM3

Yet, I'd much rather see a SPEEDBALL tournament
