    and yeah i like the cl_rollangle, it seems more realistic to have the view tilt just slightly when strafing
    0 = for best aim and best game play.
    Every time you get hit by a rocket or grenade your quake jerks all over the place. I would rather have smooth aiming then get shaken up by splash damage.

      ....and thats where your idea of 'best gameplay' differs from mine
      an unrealistically super-stiff aim is not my idea of 'good gameplay'


      also, it doesnt 'jerk all over the place'... its a slight barely noticable tap
      but lets agree to disagree on that

        Hi all,
        I've put a summary of the results up on the Damage Web site (link). I'll embellish it with more stats, etc when I feel better but this should be enough to give you the gist of what went down

                    I do like the way the weapons look but they would not benefit me any, I hide my weapon during game play r_drawviewmodel ...

                    EDIT: I know i have asked this before and don't remember if i got a response, but how do you get the screenshot to show up here as a picture and not a link?

                          I was looking for that option myself. I tend to like weapons hidden in DM etc. but in single player I like to see them.

                              r_drawviewmodel .5 is a sexy inbetween, but I just use r_drawviewmodel 1, I just find it easier to confirm the weapon I'm on visually with the model heh

                                .5 seems to do the same as 0 for me.

                                I need to get some proper binds going though before I can do without the visual clue altogether.
