Also, would SNS accept a challenge from us for a match of Runequake? This would take a little time to set up, so I just am dredging initially for interest. I'll have you know that TU is mainly a Runequake clan. SNS is mainly a CA clan, and since we accepted a challenge on your turf, it would be nice if SNS accepted a challenge on ours :d

I'm not the leader of SNS, Phenom is, but I don't believe most of the members of SNS would go for a match in RQ.

I am the only present member in SNS that really has even played very much Rune Quake.

Agreed. I think everyone in SNS would like to have more matches and the rules set in advance.

I think everyone was very frustrated with the 20 minutes or arguing, but fortunately everyone hung in there and we were all able to eventually come up with a fair set of rules.

I think everyone enjoyed playing with something (pride) on the line.

Most people wouldn't see RuneQuake as a tournement worthy mod due to it's randomness. I can understand how otheres would disagree with me though. It's like playing Poker. At first you think it's random but really it's all strategy.

I'd say CA, CRMOD and 3wave are the main tournement worthy mods.

All these things are up to Phenom to decide. Monster, Quad and a couple others were who pressed for a CA match back in April that didn't work out because someone scheduled it on a Sunday (why???) for some reason and none of SNS could play then.

It was a fun match. I got there after the 20 minutes of arguing, and we started within 5 minutes. I agree that the rules, and maps and amount of players should be pre determined, and agreed upon. The match itself went well as seen on the demo's. Was very fun and would love to do it again. SNS was doing SO well that me and my son took turns !

As for Runes, I am definately in, if there are the regular runes.

It's looking more and more to me that SNS isn't opposed to making the next event a RQ Tourney. I know damn well Phenom can play RQ, kicks butt when he's there, and both Bry4nt and Destroyer are not opposed. All in all seems we only have to find a RQ ( not rqa) server willing to allow the Clans to sally forth. Set upon a date and the actual combattants and commence said BATTLE

Thus said, we all know i can't shoot a can off a post at 3 paces... however, i personally agree to play ( i can say this, they won't let me hehee) without runes provided they allow me my hook!!

Hmm a RQ clan battle? I could easily see a CTF clan battle... But RQ? Just because I play good at Shmack doesn't mean I use runes I usually avoid them and just play by sheer skill at Shmack.

I'll consider a RQ match for SNS if the rules are said and done + written in stone. Let me know when this happens and i'll start thinking on this more

Interesting proposal Baker. It doesn't sound ideal to me, though it is a nice compromise between CA and RQ. I would prefer to have hook. But it looks like now we got proposals flying from every corner, so let's see what develops.
